Where Is The Need?

Over the past year we have learned to make changes in the way to provide outreach and resources to our community to promote safety and well-being. We are nearing the completion of our community building and are excited to be able to provide the community members with new events! This building will allow us to have a central location for our food drive, educational classes, cultural classes, community dinners, and community events.

We as volunteers often look at our community and ask "where is the need?". Where can we step in and improve our community as an organization? What resources can we provide to our neighbors and friends that can be readily available? What area in our community is lacking? YOU as community members have the answers! Please message, call, or email us and let us know where you think the need is.

Also, as volunteers, we ask ourselves "what is it I know how to do?". We self reflect and look at what skills and knowledge we have and how we can use that to contribute to our community. Our board members possess such a variety of knowledge and skills, but we are always looking for new volunteers and board members to bring new ideas to the table.

As always, our board meetings are the third Monday of the month at the Lowery Fire Department at 6:00pm. March meeting will be on 3/15/21. All community members are welcome to attend!
