Servant Leaders

Recently, our board members attended the Community and Cultural Outreach Conference held virtually by Cherokee Nation to better train our board members and the community on how to be servant leaders. This conference allowed us to gain knowledge on cultural aspects as well as the programs and grants that make us an organization! One of those grants is helping us complete renovations on our new (to us) community building that will provide our members a space to be able to come together for fellowship and events. This will also allow our board members a work space as well as an area for our board meetings and conferences. So, we rest on this Labor Day and look forward to pitching in and making this building a space for all of our community members!
